Situated on the A4 just past Hungerford, Cobbs Farm Shop has lots on offer and is a great day out for all the family.

There is a focus on local and British produce at Cobbs and this can clearly be seen when visiting the shop. Cobbs has its own in-house butchery and you can purchase a wide selection of local meats from the shop’s meat counter, much of the meat is sourced from farms in Berkshire and Hampshire with full traceability – just ask one of the butchers to find out where your meat is from! Cobbs is also home to Alder Ridge Vineyard which produces produces internationally award-winning English Sparkling Wines. The wines are available to purchase in the Farm Shop where you can also find a fish monger, a delicatessen, a variety of homemade cakes, breads and treats along with fresh seasonal produce. There is a small section of children’s toys and gifts too.

During the summer months you can go along to Cobbs and ‘Pick Your Own’ soft fruit, a lovely activity to do as a family. Once in season you can go along, collect your punnet from the shop and pick as much you want as you pay by weight; lots of fun and healthy too. The ‘Pick Your Own’ activities usually open in June but keep an eye on the website or Facebook page for updates! Other seasonal events take place at Cobbs too, such as pumpkin carving in October half term where children can go and pick up a pumpkin and then carve it in the Pumpkin Carving tent as well as Open Air Cinemas throughout the Summer months.
