On Track for Summer is a special music festival celebrating the 50th anniversary of The Windsor Jazz, Pop, Ballads & Blues Festival of 1967. It’s taking place at Royal Windsor Racecourse on Saturday 22 July and will be a day of dancing, singing and an opportunity to relive some of the biggest bands and music of the era.

Tickets, including VIP packages are on sale now at or call Windsor Racecourse box office 01753 498 400.

Headlining at the festival are Britain’s premier space rockers Hawkwind – a band deeply woven into the fabric of British rock music, they have inspired and influenced generations of bands around the world, and without them the world of rock music would sound very different.

Georgie Fame and the Blue Flames will also be performing and The Norman Beaker Band will join the celebrations along with special guest Pete Brown – the original writing partner of Cream’s Jack Bruce and Eric Clapton, writing ‘White Room’, ‘Sunshine Of Your Love’ and many other seminal rock songs from 1967, Sonja Kristena will be performing Curved Air Hits including ‘It Happened Today’ and ‘Back Street Luv’ with Norman as special guest vocal star.

Celebrating their 50th anniversary this year, The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown are one of the most unique live bands of all time. Arthur’s powerful vocal and outlandish live performances made them one of the most formidable live bands of all time. He is also known as ‘The God Of Hell Fire’ from their global chart hit ‘Fire’.

This year The Psychedelic Orchestra of Great Britain make their festival debut and will play two major psychedelic classics from two seminal albums released in 1967 – ‘Pet Sounds’ and ‘Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Heart Club Band’. The world’s leading tribute to The Doors, The Doors Alive, will perform a set befitting the 50th anniversary of one of the all time great rock bands.

The weekend will be hosted by Alex Lester and as well as the incredible live music there will be a plethora of special guests, food and drink galore, body painting and more.
