Kids just love Pizza Express; it’s a great place for eating out with children in Newbury.

The restaurant has baby-changing facilities, high chairs and a lovely ‘piccolo’ children’s menu. Children get a 3 course meal, starting with dough balls and side salad. Then choosing from pasta with Bolognese, carbonara or creamy tomato sauce, five different types of pizza and desserts include Toffee fudge, strawberry or chocolate sundaes and is all finished off with a bambinoccino (frothy milk with chocolate sprinkled) for £6.50.  It’s nice to know also that the Children’s Food Trust have been working with Pizza express to create healthier options with less salt, fat and calories.

Staff bring you colouring and pencils to keep the children occupied and they’re happy to heat up baby food and bottles in hot water or in the microwave.

The Newbury branch is located in the market square area of Newbury town centre opposite the corn exchange. The restaurant has an open plan style of kitchen which means you can almost see your food being prepared.

Takeaways are available and during the summer months there is a small amount of alfresco dining available.
