Ask Newbury is a lovely Italian restaurant located in the market square area of the town. The restaurant is light and airy with high ceilings boasting skylights throughout and the open plan style of kitchen means you can almost see your food being prepared.

They have a great menu full of simple classic Italian dishes. Prices for appetizers start at £4.95 for dishes like their new Panzerottini; baked dough balls with a cheese and chilli or pancetta mix with olive oil and balsamic vinegar for dipping. Adult Mains include pasta, risotto, meat, fish and pizza prices from £7.75 and you can finish it all off with one of their desserts from £4.95; Our families personal favourite the honey cheese cake, you get the cookie base with the really creamy cheesecake then all sprinkled with chocolate honeycomb pieces-yummy!

They have a nice children’s menu, for £5.95 they receive a vegetable crudités and garlic bread stick starter, followed by a main of their choice from a selection of pizza or pasta’s and top off with ice cream or fruit and then finished with a babyccino (warm frothy milk).

The toilets are on the first floor, however by the restaurant entrance a large disabled toilet with baby Changing facilities is provided.

If you have a special occasion or want to reserve a table, you can call or do so via their website. Online they also have an offers section displaying any new promotions, for example this month they are offering 25% off the food bill (until 2nd July 2013) there are certain terms and conditions and you need to print a voucher before, but it’s worth having a look.
