Cobbs I-Spy Trail

Pick up an activity sheet, map and crayon from the Play Barn then head up to Cobbs Farm for a fun game of i-spy! Free with Play Barn entry and runs all day.

Farm Animals Visit – Saturday 3rd August 11am-3pm

A free event! Farms 2 Ewe will be visiting with some farm animals.

Barn Bears Garden Party

Charity Emergency Services Day– Friday 9th August 11am-2pm

Police and service vehicles will be visiting the Play Barn! A free event but donations to help support the emergency services will be welcomed. There will also be a raffle.

Our partner Pop Up Play Village is running some events over the summer:

Friday 26th July & Friday 2nd August 10am – at Bucklebury Memorial Hall, Broad Lane, Upper Bucklebury, RG7 6QH; and

First Playtime

The Sand Kitchen – Monday-Saturday until 31st August 10am-4pm at the Kennet Centre (last entry 3.15pm)

For children aged 18 months to 6 years, children can go along and play in the Sand Kitchen. £5 for one child, £8 for two children and £10 for three children. You’ll find the Sand Kitchen in the Kennet Centre, next door to the Trutex school uniform shop.

Thames Valley Police Open Day – Saturday 10th August 10am-4pm – THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED

Thames Valley Police’s annual force Open Day. Get a behind the scenes look at what it takes to police the largest non-metropolitan force in the country. There will be lots of things to do, from watching arena displays by the public order team, a pat and chat with officers and their horses, and a visit from the National Police Air Support helicopter. Children can dress up in a police themed costume to take part in the Children’s Fancy Dress Competition and put on their thinking caps to be a detective in the scavenger hunt! A free event.
