Cobbs Play Barn & Farm Shop

Pumpkin Carving – Friday 25th October – Thursday 31st October 10am-4pm

Pick your own pumpkin from the Cobbs patch or choose one from the Farm Shop and then head to the carving tent. Entrance to the tent is £3.50 per child which includes a Halloween treat and squash. Buggyfit sessions are outdoor exercise classes that you can take babies and little ones along to. There are some Halloween specials running during half term week:

Trick or Treating Day – Thursday 31st October

Dress up and go trick or treating in Newbury! Visit the shops displaying a ‘Trick or Treat’ sticker in their window, there will be a suprise trick or treat in Northbook Street at 3pm.

‘CREEPY CRUISE’ HALLOWEEN BOAT TRIPS – 29th- 31st OCTOBER

There are ‘Creepy Cruise’ Halloween boat trips on the Jubilee narrowboat in Newbury from 29th-31st October. Children can enjoy a spooky story, a Halloween quiz and a chance to have a go at the ‘Trick or Treat’ box. Tickets cost £6 for adults and £5 for children aged 2-15. Trip times vary by date. WASH COMMON SCARECROW HUNT – 28th October-November 3rd

Raising money for the Make a Wish Foundation. You can collect maps from McColls newsagent on Essex Street and follow the trail around Wash Common. £2 per map. Maps are available to purchase from 28th October; one entry will be selected to win tickets for the Falkland Firework Display on 5th November.
