Are you looking for family activities or things to do to keep the kids entertained over the Easter holidays? We’ve rounded up some of the activities and events that will be taking place in & around West Berkshire over the Easter break. There’s lots going on! Please do get in touch if you know of anything that we’ve missed or if you’re holding an event that you’d like us to add. Cobbs Play Barn & Farm Shop

Easter Bake & Play – Wednesday 10th April 1pm

Spend the afternoon making an Easter pizza at Cobbs Play Barn. Tickets cost £12 each which includes all of your equipment, a glass of squash, a play in the barn and your pizza to take home. Barn Bears Easter Garden Party – Thursday 18th April 1pm-3pm

Visiting Farm Animals – Easter Monday 11am-3pm

Farms 2 Ewe will be visiting the Play Barn on Easter Monday with some cute, fluffy animals. It’s free to go along! (Play Barn entry fees still apply).

Easter Family Fun Day – Tuesday 9th April 10am-5pm

Join Eddie Catz and the Easter Bunny for an Easter Egg Hunt, games, glitter tattoos and a disco. Suitable for all ages. Dance Fusion – Thursday 11th and Friday 12th April 9am-3pm

Make a Cuddly Easter Friend Workshop – Tuesday 16th April 11am-2pm

A workshop for children aged 4-7 years (drop off). Children will be able to choose, stuff, fluff & adopt their own cuddly Easter friend. Costs £17 per child or £15 per Eddie Catz child member (they must be a member at the time of the workshop). Includes teddy to take home, lunch and a play after the workshop. Mess it Up Messy Play Easter Special – Wednesday 17th April 1.30pm-2.30pm

A messy play session for ages 4 months to 4 years. £6 per child which includes a play. Tickets can be bought online at www.eddiecatz.com.

Easter Workshop: Chocolate Eggs-travaganza – Thursday 18th April 11am-2pm

Pop Up Play Village

Eggtastic Easter Fun in Thatcham (Friday 12th April 10am-11.15am) and Newbury (Wednesday 17th April 2pm-.315pm)

Our partner Pop Up Play Village is holding Easter themed play sessions at the Acland Memorial Hall in Cold Ash and at Sutton Village Hall near Newbury. Pop Up Play Village sessions are for children who love to role play. There will a supermarket, library and vets play area as well as an Easter hunt, Easter craft activity and an Easter themed play activity. £6.50 per child, £5 per sibling. Hartbeeps Easter Sessions

Three Little Pigs inspired sessions from our partner Hartbeeps. Hartbeeps sessions are multi-sensory classes for babies, toddlers & pre-schoolers featuring music, props, puppets & lots more!

Make & Do Holiday Club – Monday 8th April – Friday 12th April (week 1) & Monday 15h April – Thursday 18th April (week 2). 9am-5pm (drop off from 8.30am, pick up until 5.30pm)

A holiday club for children aged 4-8 where they will be able to take part in creative activities including arts & crafts, drama and dance. Beale Park

Meet the Bugs – Wednesday 10th & 17th April 1.30pm-3.30pm

A chance to meet some of the smaller residents that live at Beale Park. Normal park admission charges apply and there is no extra charge for this event which will run on a first come, first served basis.

Build a Mini Bug Hotel – Wednesday 10th & 17th April 10.30am-12.30pm

Make your own Mini Bug Hotel. Costs £5 per hotel (in addition to normal park admission charges). The event is run on a first come, first served basis.
